Here’s a really interesting idea and a glimpse into just how much of a coffee culture London, England has. Penny University is a small cafe specializing in just pour over coffee. Not only that, there’s no cream or sugar available, only six seats and each coffee is made to order. I’ve had pour over coffee at Monmouth Coffee at the Borough Market when I was in London last and the flavours were unreal. You really do get more flavour nuisances and you have the chance to try single origin beans from different regions. Penny University looks like a place I would love to check out. I use the word simplicity a lot but to me things that are understated always trump those with over-the-top flare.
