Brooklyn seems to be THE place for hip, new things these days.  I suppose the Soda Fountain concept isn’t new but this is a great modern take on it.  With classic egg creams, Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain are purveyors of seasonal and regional food of all varieties. Ice cream is sourced from Adirondack Creamery, pickled fiddleheads are brought in from Maine, and they’ve started a CSA with Red Jacket Orchards. Daily pie specials, ice cream sandwiches, Pink Poodles (made with hibiscus soda), and cherry lime rickeys are also on order.  Chalk up another place to add to the ol’ bucket list!  Thank you “The Scout Mag” for putting this piece together.

It’s a great place! For young and old. Especially for grandparents who enjoying watching the Kiddies eat healthy sweets and then go in the back to play games. No computers, no cell phones — just people together engaged in conversation while slurping on great treats.
