18 Karat designs are leading the way with clean, sophisticated products for the home.  The use of natural elements is key.  There is hardly anything that 18 Karat produces that I’m not in love with.  They manage to design products that are modern but possess a aesthetic that is timeless.  Combine that with a focus on working with ethical trade partners and you’ve got a company worth supporting.

Every one of my future and present rooms will have/has a place for 18 Karat!  { Link – https://www.eighteenkarat.com/ }

I don’t normally include an excerpt from a site but I think what they’ve written below about their business sums up their focus and passion.

Here it is in their own words:

18 Karat is a design, import and distribution company specializing in innovative products for the home and body. The company came into existence 18 years ago to design and import floral containers for large volume users. Since then, the line has diversified into home decor, tabletop, textiles and lifestyle products. We introduce new collections twice a year and produce two catalogues annually; each with a new creative concept and more than 500 new items. Our look is simple and modern as we design collections that are fashionable, yet comfortable to live with.

Our products are imported from many countries around the world, primarily Asia. We are committed to working with factories and cottage industry producers that maintain fair and honourable business ethics. We visit our suppliers regularly and build strong bonds with our producers. Our products support the workers in developing countries who rely on their handicrafts to provide the necessities of living for themselves and their families. Most products are hand made. As global corporate citizens, we act responsibly to those with whom we interact and affect.

18Karat products are sold throughout North America, Switzerland and Japan. Our only retail store is located in Vancouver, Canada.
Here is their latest catalog.
